First Forum International - The global conferencing and training experts.

Engineering Management Training Courses

First Forum International, the Authorised Knowledge Providers for Engineering Management Certification International (EMCI) in Trinidad and Tobago, would like to thank all the participants of our inaugural Comprehensive Review seminar at Cara Suites Hotel on May 14-16, 2007 in preparation for the international examination invigilated at University of the West Indies.

The instructors for the seminar, Lynn Hauser and Howard Hamilton, were impressed with the level of expertise, experience and professional knowledge demonstrated by Trinidad and Tobago engineers, consistent with the rationale for bringing the EMCI programme to this country. They look forward to coming back for the next round of seminars slated to commence in September 2007.

With this kind of Leadership Training, supported by established literature by international academia, engineering professionals in Trinidad and Tobago have taken a first step in formalizing their management skills and are now better prepared to spearhead initiatives within their organizations that require not only technical leadership but also general management.

The seminars were also observed by H/R professionals and other Senior Engineers from around the country as guests of FFI. Among them was Janel Philip, SHR Generalist - Training and Development, Power Generation Company of Trinidad and Tobago, who commented, "If only I could get all my engineers to think this way..."
